Our goal is to produce a timelapse archive consisting of sound, photos and stories.
The theme: Technology and the impact in daily lives.
Sub theme: energy transition.
Second sub theme: the impact of technology on art and its future importance.
Why?
In our point of view the next 15 years will accelerate the
impact of technology on our lives. Our grandkids will live in a fundamentally different world. We want to capture this impact, like a timelapse picture does. Showing the progression of the impact of the asymptotic changes technology will bring to our lives.
Born as an idea 15 years ago. Inspired by the hustle and bustle of the big apple, the power of photography and
the quest to not let time pass by:
To capture....life.
Creating a documentary over time...
Taking photo's, film, conducting interviews and seeing performances and art, which by nature will reflect the spirit of the moment.
How?
- Cover historical technology development until now by interviewing our parents/previous generation, ourselves and our kids.
- Cover the time stamp/the now, by speaking to leading artists (photographers, musicians) as well as through leaders and entrepreneurs who are working on the future.
- Cover the future by repeating these documentary rounds at least every five years with the goal of “following the sun”.
And in 5 years, do it again...
Creating a time-lapse across 4 cities and different decennia.
We live in a fast evolving, increasingly complex and exciting world.
